Hi guys

Was wondering if anyone knew of linux software that would allow me to do something to the distribution lists in exchange? Including importing / exporting them?

Have you exported the file first from outlook?
Id just install thunderbird and then see what will import the file

Hi Baabits,

I don't know much about distribution lists or Exchange but I'm running Ubuntu Linux here and it comes with Evolution (similar to Outlook) installed by default. It has some support for Exchange (but not Exchange 2007 it seems).

These links might help:

Ahh thanks guys. Distribution lists are a feature of Exchange Server- It allows Admin to setup and email address that will forward any number of emails it gets to certain addresses, you might have seen one before when emails are sent to allstaff @ organization.net.nz

Hi baabits,

I've not seen anything aside from mailman that lets you do that. In the end, I settled for Google Apps for Domains, which lets you do distribution lists :)
