Hello, thankyou for coming to reading my post.

I am trying to find a remote to control my powerpoint presentations which Im showing via projector. All I have found in NZ so far is streamzap (http://www.nzmp3.co.nz/streamzap.phtml) which is $58 but Im looking for something simpler at about the same price. Or if there are other options Im not aware of please let me know.

Cheers, have a great day.

You can get cheap wireless presenter remotes - something like http://www.trademe.co.nz/Electronics-photography/Other-electronics/Laser-pointers/auction-266573969.htm

It may also be worth investigating your projector - many projectors also connect to your PC via USB, and pretend to act as a keyboard / mouse. You can then use the projector's own remote to control the presentation, and don't have to buy anything extra.

cordless mouse I have done this a few times works quite well so long as you stay in range

Do I take it that the presentatation needs to be stopped and started at each slide?

Hey cool, I can setup the projector remote that way, its a bulky remote though so I might try the pointer remote as that looks nice and compact. Great replies, thanks.
