Well not knowing anything about your laptop and what's already in there I doubt anyone can say much except for get a good brand and make sure it's compatible with the laptop and any sticks already in there.

A DDR2 SODIMM RAM would be what you need.

The one in your laptop is a generic RAM, which is cheaper than proprietary ones such as Kingston and Corsair.

Generic RAM modules are fine in my opinion :)

Pricespy: http://pricespy.co.nz/category.php?k=376&o=produkt_pris_inkmoms#rparams=k=s47871917

I have applied the "2GB" and "DDR2" filters :)

Get one that matches the timings of the one you already have. Less likely to have issues that way.

OR just get 2 new ones exactly the same and sell the old one or something.

Shouldn't matter either way, DDR2 is pretty cheap

a 2x2gig set would be better thinking about.

aaargh it all looks expensive to me(2x2gig) :p

It looks expensive since Pricespy sucks and they don't have much listed.

http://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?p=540009

That's only $69 for a 2x2GB set

There are probably shops somewhere else that are cheaper, but since Pricespy hasn't listed them you have no idea who they are....

If you really want to save money, eBay might be worth a shot
