Have you tried in pictures folder ??

Other wise as long as you know the name of at least one of the pictures, click start type in its name and it will show in the results, right click the photo click on Open File Location - then in the address bar will be the folder its in.

I have all your pictures, they went to me. I'll sell them back to you at a price.

Not helpful I know, but it made me laugh.

check under your Documents and see if you have a folder named bluetooh or inbox or something similar. i used to use bluetooth before with win XP and all the files went into a folder called 'inbox" that was sitting under another folder called Bluetooth. do search for bluetooth folders. hope this helps.

Show all files it maybe hidden. Then go to C:\users\yourusername, and go through the folders

Vista can sometimes be a little slower in indexing the files. Try it in W7 and its almost instant.

That is of course unless you have indexing turned off, then it wont find a damn new thing

I use the Search a LOT - even over the LAN. When you have stuff spread out over 3-4 PC's it can be a pain to remember exactly where everything is sometimes :p
