I have a m/board with a socket 775, and processor Pentium4 519(p).
I am trying to find out, if this processor, Pentium4 519, will fit into an
Asus P5KPL/EPU.....Intel LGA775 Platform. I want a m/board with 4 memory slots, but be able to use the processor, I already have. Or not possible?
Thanks for any HELP I can get. oldies:stare:

Looks like this.

Codename: Prescott Clock Speed: 3060 MHz
FSB: 133 MHz Multiplier: 23x
Package: FC-LGA4 Socket: 775 ?
Process Size: 90nm Voltage: 1.388 V
Transistor count: 125M TDP: 84 W
# of cores: 1 SMP # CPUs: 1
Cache L1: 16 KB Cache L2: 1024 KB
Cache L3: 0 KB Die size: 109 mm˛
Released: unknown Part #: SL87L

Can't see why it wouldn't do what you want. That P4 is pretty fast. Duals are MUCH better, though!

Good luck.

On the Asus site is the List of CPU's (http://asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=RkNdQD1DmfoN3JVw) that board supports under the CPU tab ( these do work). In other word - others may - but not guaranteed
