Is it hard to setup and remap for games?

I managed to get a ps3 controller connected but couldnt figure out howto remap it!

The Xbox controller is easy to setup. Just install the software for it. And any game that supports it on Xbox will work. The controls are the same as the Xbox

Theres no options in the software tho. If you use Vista / Windows 7 x64 you could try this (http://www.hardcoreware.net/how-to-playstation-3-controller-64-bit-windows-7-vista/)

Well I got the controller remapped fine. Works good in MW2. But in dirt 2 it doesnt go forward or steer. It works fine in all the menus but when actually racing it doesnt work.

Is this (http://www.dse.co.nz/dse.shop/4b2c04ff027694e42744c0a87f3b06c6/Product/View/YG4370) what I want?

How does the wireless one connect? Link (http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/gaming/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=090&active_tab=systemRequirements)

Unless it says on the box the game comes with, that it supports the windows controller, it wont fully work. The wireless controller connects wirelessly. Turn it on then play. Thats the windows controller, but I wouldnt get it. NOT all games will work with it

So I should get a normal Xbox controller? Will that work?

Normal Xbox controller is what I have, has a little USB adapter thing on the end of it. It works with pretty much everything but alot of the time its easier using the keyboard and mouse. For shooters anyway

You could but you would have to get the drivers off the MS website (not a hard process) but otherwise yes it would work. The only difference between the "for Windows" one and the one that doesn't say "for Windows" is that the "for Windows" one has a driver CD (unless you get the wireless one which includes one of these (http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/02/xbox-360-wireless-windows-2.jpg)).

Any idea about game compatibilty? I presume that it should work with games that are on both xbox and PC?

I sorta of came into ownership of it after someone left it at my house lol but I think places like gamesman sell them.

As far as compatibility goes, I dont think ive played a game that was released on both console and pc and had issues. I know the first Colin Mcrae Dirt didnt work, second one does though

Yes, I've found my one supports most games that I've played without any major issues.

It'll work on both Xbox and PC.

Legend! Thats the game I wanted it for!

Also does it emulate mouse movement?

It'll say it supports Xbox 360 controller, for a PC game, (on the box), if it works. If it doesnt it may not work
