Hi,

Quick question bout the windows 7 family pack...
Part of the licence agreement states that pc's must all be in the same residential address. Now if I install on three pc's in the same flat. Then say the flat disbands and the software need to be reinstalled for instance, will there be issues reactivating the software?

Cheers, Pete

I doubt it, but as you will no longer be complying with the terms of the EULA agreement, it requires you to remove the software from your computer(s). (Yeah right...)

Should be fine, if you have any issues reactivating then just ring M$ and they will activate it over the phone.

Just a query, did it ask for your address when you installed it?

Ah, so MS considers a family as one that inhabits the same property. So when Mr Gates kids moves out, they aren't his family anymore.

I guess the problem is that the Family Pack will only come with one disk (maybe two, one for 32bit and one for 64bit) and one copy of the product key.
Who keeps this if the 3 "family members" go live in different places?

Yup, and explain the circumstances and you should be sweet.
