Ascent (http://www.ascent.co.nz/), Computer Lounge (http://www.computerlounge.co.nz/), and Playtech (www.playtech.co.nz)are all good when it comes to service, prices aren't bad either :).

Those sites are highly recommended, I would not consider shopping anywhere else for computer parts. Their service is second to none. If you purchase PC parts from a dogy retailer (or e-tailer) and something goes wrong, good luck getting service. The above sites are a dream to work with!

Here's a list of most PC e-tailers in NZ and their reputation: http://www.gpforums.co.nz/printthread.php?threadid=197997

Basically what is boils down to is - you get what you pay for.

Depends what you want. AMD / Socket 775, I5, or I7. On how much it'll cost all up. How much do you want to spend. There's also Eden computers (wouldnt say theyre that cheap, and DTC. Both in Mt Eden

+1 To that-if any of your parts fail, you'll get a replacement probably within a day from the PC Retailers in David Mac's post, with others you'll may have to chase them for weeks or even months!
