Are there command-line switches I can pass to Explorer to have it map a network drive?
Something along the lines of:
'explorer /mapnetworkdrive /:Y //aServer/sharedFolder/'

Through dos command the comand would be
map p y:=\\server\sharefolder\
ie
map p y:=\\2ndpc\mp3s\

or via explorer broswe to to the server, right click on the sharefolder and click on map network drive. IF you wanted to add a tick on recconect at logon to make it perment maped drive.

Thanks for the try, but the command you gave didn't fly for me at a DOS prompt.
I've found a shell command that works:
net use [drive name]:
\\computer_name\share_name

Thanks for the response.
