In the screenshot attached I seem to be getting a grey patch thats on the bottom of my firefox portable browser.

Has anybody else had this problem?

That is a well known problem due to incompatible extensions. Try uninstalling the last add-on you installed or running Firefox in safe mode and see if that fixes it.

Look under your start menu > all programs > Firefox for the safe mode option.

Why not?

Try entering the following line below into your "Run" box:

"%PROGRAMFILES%\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode

It would be best to copy and paste it. Make sure you have closed Firefox before doing this.

Or run>X:\path\of\firefox\firefox.exe -safe-mode

Tools > Add-ons > Extensions. Select each add-on and then click the disable button.

Did this problem occur after you installed an Add-on? If so, then just disable that one first.

You will need to restart Firefox once the add-on's have been disabled.
