Just got my Nokia E75, initially I thought it was the bulk of the iPhone and the lack of the keyboard.

Now, I think the advantage of a larger screen outweights it. Surf the web, write an email or read a PDF on the bus or on the plane or at the waiting seats, is just much easier.......

How do you guys find the size of the iPhones?

Cheers.

They are easy to find - like catching a cold for a fee. ;)

My son has just got himself the latest touch for his birthday, and I know its not a iphone, but for all you have just listed its great. And no I haven't tried any other device except a nokia N95.

Theyre probably all the same size, its the size of the hdd's thats different. And depending on which plan you go on, the dearer or cheaper it'll be

iphone nice & slim, fits in my jeans pocket + I can sit down & it's not too bulky. Screen's easy to read, apps work quick enough. Only thing that bugged me was the pitiful sms message alerts. Jailbreak it & you're away laughing, put what you like on it + you can hear them

Being a quick touch typer the small screen size, I am seeing the limitations of them. Maybe that is why people get Netbooks.

I don't enjoy scrolling left right up down on the webpage. I have became a two thumb typer from a 80WPM typer or near 100WPM when I flood my brain out like emails.

I guess I am lucky. Personally I don't have an iAnything.

I also can get away without having any mobile phone these days.

YMMV.

Nomad: pop it in landscape mode and get yourself something like VanillaSurf for full-screen browsing ...

Netbooks are more of a PITA than an iPhone any day IMO :p

iPhones are a delight to use, but they are a bit RS as a phone :(

Thanks for the tips.

Now maybe a Netbook is better for more intense use :D
Others have said the keyboard is nice on it, and the bluetooth device is v strong, it picks up devices than my old Nokia didn't, as well someone's recent Samsung with the big touch screen.

I will have a look at VanillaSurf, there is also Firefox I think :p
When I surf stuff.co.nz I find I need to scroll around, iPhone prob the same.
