Hello all, again.

I'm having some trouble plugging my CD drive into my motherboard. The ATA cord goes in, but the SATA Cord. These are the cords that are connected to my drive, http://images.tigerdirect.com/skuimages/large/C250-2138-rn.jpg. But the big grey plug has no home on my motherboard at all. This is the same with the case fan, one plug plugs in, but the other big one has no place on the Mobo. Also, take note, I have not yet got my power supply, but everything else is connected.

Is there something wrong here? Or am I just not looking hard enough. (Nothing in the manuals as well)

Thanks in advance

Edit. better put my motherboard in here,

The big grey plug in that pic is for connecting to the power supply if your power supply has no sata connection. It is a power sata to Ide converter plug.

Just be aware that the Atheros NIC Might not play nice with Comodo firewall unless Comodo has been fixed

Because it connects to the power supply - not the motherboard.

With the fan - it sounds like you have a choice - plug it to the motherboard OR plug it to a molex connector on the PSU. (Molex is the white 4 pin power connector shown in your pic).
