Did you really need to post this thread? Are you seriously that arrogant that you think we are going to take an interest in reading a thread about you installing linux?

It's almost 11:20PM here, Saturday and I'm gonna call it quits soon now.

Roddyboy - you are a pompous twit and you are back on my Ignore List.
- I won't make the mistake of removing you from it again as I have tried in the past. :thanks

Ignore List.

Underlining makes things seem so much more intense.

Ignore List.

Underlining makes things seem so much more intense. You have a real attitude problem Roddy. You just have to be nasty don't you? I don't even know why you stick around the forum as you obviously look down your nose at most members.

As you don't seem to get the message, take the next 48 hours to think about it some more.

I'd expect nothing less from a monkey, he should have used a pic of a Baboon seems more appropriate

This is done in Linux Mint 64 bit, on a hard drive that 27 minutes ago came out of it's anti-static for the first time. (It probably would have installed a lot quicker, but the Chinese Language files for Open Office took a while to download.)
The whole exercise is greatly aided by the full 230 volts of course. ;)
Now, I have a sneaking suspicion that ad block plus is actually next on my list of to-do's

Yea, took about 7mins (if i remember correctly) when I installed it on by laptop last week. I just clicked on 'skip' on the language files since I only understand english :p

And another thing - - - - -

Ubuntu doesn't let the moving/dancing things run so my page/load time is so fast and I don't care if the whole F1 site has twenty times more advertising on it - Ubuntu cuts through the chatter!

(Of course I DO mind that there's too much advertising - but on anything but Ubuntu, I don't really care that much at the mo).
