At times I end up with 10+ different Word documents open (for whatever reason). Is there an easy way to close all of them in one go? At the moment I'm having to manually close each one.

My PC is running Vista Business & Office 2k7.

Have a read of This article (http://www.theworldofoffice.com/word-tips-tricks/close-all-save-all-word-2007-hotkey/) - just tied it, and it closed off 3 at once.

You could always group items in the taskbar, then right click the group>close all windows..

That works a treat in Windows 7 , does it by default ( the grouping)

ha, hold down shift as you mouse over the File menu + Close
It now shows as "Close all". Gives "Save all" as well.
That's an old one

That's an old one Original question Office 2k7. Which I assume is office 2007 - that command doesn't work with the standard ribbon.

Bit backwards - but - The link to the second article tells how to do it now - the first link I posted tells how to make a shortcut key.

From that first article
But unfortunately these commands are not available on the Word 2007 Ribbon; you will need to add these commands to the Quick Access toolbar to use them.

One thing I don't like about the grouping is that it requires one extra click to get to a window if you have two open...
