Probably to do with the fact they have been going for over 20 years, and there early stuff was great, but now you say it the new stuff is shite

Funny to see that the quoted critic graciously credits him with "inventing" the Moonwalk - but he didn't even do that!

People like Marcel Marceau had been doing it decades before. There is even a compilation video (on Youtube I think) that shows all the people (including many black performers in the US) who had been doing something similar for many years. I would have put Whacko at the top of the list of over rated performers without even a mention of this spurious credit.

Agree Trev... even if they are it would be nice to be able to wake up in the morning and think..."will I buy a new Rolls today to match the Ferrari I bought last week? Or shall I just pay off the NZ national debt for them?"

There are lots of groups/solo artists that I think are pretty bloody awful. But I don't knock them or deny them their appeal to some of our very diverse population.

Takes all kinds..
