Morning all

We just purchased an Epson projector for our office...I needed some support with it as it's not doing what I want.

Rang the 0800 number which went to Australia...got the receptionist who happily gave me the email address of the projector tech there - he was out and I felt more comfortable spelling out my issue over an email, as you do.

The email bounced back - wrong address.

I ring back to get correct email address and get someone else - "sorry we are not permitted to give out email addresses."

Fantastic Customer Service? I think not, Epson. I still can't believe it!

I've left a message for him to call me - but will likely end up calling back.

It's just that sometimes it's so much easier to get facts across in an email...I was just dumbfounded that a (major) company could even suggest they can't give out staff email addresses to anyone who rings for help.

Thanks guys - had tried that, got told to ring 0800 number which went to tech support in Oz...the girl in Auckland told me they don't have projector tech support in NZ.

Ah a reason not to buy Epson projectors.
Email the company CEO, usually gets a response.
Or tell them you are going to return it for a refund as warranty support has not been supplied.
Go for the jugular... ie WALLET!
