Has it got compatibility mode? The professional version has xp mode, but if HP's got compatibility that's good enough for me

Out of interest why state HP's -- its nothing to do with HP, its the OS.:illogical

I'm just looking now. It seem it can be got in quite a lot of places as well as the UK

Home Premium is OK - Professional is better :D Basic ---:xmouth: Wont even go there .

NZ pricing AFAIK has not been announced yet - I was talking to one of my suppliers a few minutes ago and even they dont know yet.( 27th Aug)

You cant go by prices in other countries -- Doesn't work like that.

I was looking at the american & uk sites.. Amazon was advertising w7 yesterday. The uk site doesn't say anything about any of the w7 options being upgrades tho

I thought this was to be a reasonably cheap upgrade for those already on Vista ? Or are these prices for a new OS ?

They are UK prices for a new OS NOT the upgrade
