Yesterday I had to download 32 updates- why the auto update did not work I don't know--but included in that was SP 3 for Ofice Suite 2007
This took out something like 2 gb of h/d space--
Can I delete Office SP 1 and 2 without affecting anything as we were able to do on other programs a while ago?
Although I still have space, it is steadily losing ground so the 80 Gb is down to about to about only 60Gb free - spread over a partitioned H/d, and I am in no position to buy another h/d- I just don't need all that much

Hi Game Junkie,

Looks like you are right--but I see Office 2007 Enterprise has a multitude of updates - and fast as my pooter is- it still took a longer while than normal
Can I take out earlier versions of SP ?

The latest SP will probably update / overwrite the previous versions anyway

As already said there is NO SP3 (for Office 2007), and whatever you've got SHOULD update / overwrite SP1 and 2. After you've installed it run ccleaner to get some space back. If this SP3 is showing in windowsupdate or the shield / wherever, give us a LINK to it.

Hi all,

It looks like I cannot find SP 3 except for XP Pro-- but in the
I have just done a search and found a multiplicity of SP3 downloads
I DID see something like that as it took so long to download
A Computer search shows 368b files pertaining to SP3

I think I will get you to check a HJT as one file showed 29000 odd and that must be the 2 gb odd I am talking about
At the moment I am digging a great hole and to no advantage
HJT scan coming up

60GB free is masses of room Effie. You have only used one third of the hard drive.

I wouldn't worry about it.
