Why, after I delete (from Internet Options) all Temporary Internet Files, Browsing History and Cookies, do I still find a number of files listed when I “View Files” ? Is there another way of cleaning up the system (and maybe speed it up) other than Disc Cleanup?

Cleaning your temp files and history won't speed it up.

But it does keep things tidy.

+1 for CCleaner.

Gee - that cleaned ‘em out! Thanks! Have to study CC to see what all the other options can do – don’t even recognize what all that stuff is! (being a greenie!!)

The only reg cleaner I trust is Glary Utilities. I have used it on my computer and others for years and never had anything damaged.
