Hi everybody, for those of you who are not familiar with this
site, I recommend it for it's content without any affilliation:-
CDFreaks.com
It's weekly newsletter has kept me informed for 6 months and
I find it of great value. That is not to say that I don't value
this or the F1 tech forum - I do, absolutely and hope that I
am not infringeing any rules with this post. If I am, I apologise.
When it comes to knowledge of computing or otherwise, the more
sources of information, the better and I believe in sharing those
sources, hence this post.
Of course, I realise that there are many other websites of this kind
and I make use of some of them. Hope I'm not Banned ?!

Well, lets be fair about this. I am not giving any information
regarding file sharing or suchlike. The site I mention is purely
a technology information site - no torrents or anything of that
nature.
The only reason I can think of why my post would may not be
acceptable is that the site could be seen as competitive website.
I am not clear on this point and would value any comment from
an administrator.

I have referenced CD freaks for a few years - has industry news, downloads for DVD drives (drivers I think). Used to read their technical dvd drive reports comparisons. They published a good technical article on comparing dvd formats once. Sometimes visit/subscribe to similar sites like video help com, afterdawn com, digital inspiration, and joe tech.
