I have been trying to find a service manual for a Toshiba Satellite Pro L300.
As yet havent had any luck. Any likely sites present me with a massive list of model numbers to choose from. This one is not listed, or is known under another one that I am not aware of.
This is model no: PSLB1A-01L019

What do you want to do?
Sometimes googling it exact brings up what you want. Ie Satelitte Pro L300-xxx remove motherboard, or suchlike.

Well at this stage I need to see how the power socket should be secured in the case. This one must have taken a knock & although still working ok, the socket is quite loose.

So you just want to undo it.
You haven't found all the screws?

Google like I said, should find something that tells you were they all are.

Thank you.
I havent started to open it up yet.
I have been into quite a few laptops & have found you are less likely to break locating lugs if you know the correct sequence. Sometimes items have to be removed to get at hidden screws.
I've been looking at http://www.irisvista.com/tech/ but can't find this model.

Just found this, it's the same problem but different model.

I've got the top off & found the problem.
I think I'll just glue it back in will Epoxy.

And it worked too.
All back together now with no broken tabs.
