Morning All,

My Firefox (3.0.11) homepage is set to Facebook.
Whenever I do Google search it changes to Google as the homepage.
I have searched there for an answer or reason for this, but to no avail. I have done all the usual scans.
Here is a Hijack log, not sure if it's needed for you to help??
Many thanks in advance

Uninstall Ask toolbar. Disable system restore

Tick these then tick fix checked

Close browsers

O2 - BHO: AskBar BHO - {201f27d4-3704-41d6-89c1-aa35e39143ed} - C:\Program Files\AskBarDis\bar\bin\askBar.dll

This looks like it belongs to spyware

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [loaddll] loaddll.exe and a possible keylogger. If its running now kill its process

Uninstall all versions of java its out of date then update it

O17 - HKLM\System\CS1\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: SearchList = local.terralink

O17 - HKLM\System\CS2\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: SearchList = local.terralink

Thanks Speedy, I'll try that this afternoon.
The terralink entries are for connecting to work, so should be OK.

Ok. Once you tick those entries make sure loaddll.exe isnt running (if it is kill it) then delete it. I would also update FF to 3.5
