You may want to download the 2 files here (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972890)

One file fixes the zero day activex hole, the other removes it. Its a workaround, it has just been discovered, so there is no patch for it at the mo. It doesnt say what version of IE it affects, but the Symantec site says IE 6 and 7 are affected, but IE 8 isnt affected (altho I'm using IE 8 here, and used the fix for the time being). It doesnt affect Vista or 2008, but the PCWorld site (http://www.pcworld.com/article/167914/zeroday_activex_hole_in_windows_xp_under_attack.ht ml) says you can use the fix on Vista and 2008

There is also info about it on the Herald site (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/technology/news/article.cfm?c_id=5&objectid=10582963). It affects XP and Server 03
