Parallel import cellphones - Voda Live?

Hi guys

I know someone who has a imported cellphone but cannot get Vodafone Live on it since shops here won't touch it cos it is a import. I am not in Auckland, you guys know if it is possible to configure the phone?

I am also thinking about getting a import myself.

What is the model of the cellphone?

Some models will work with vodafone live. It also depends where it is imported from. I know i received a N79 from a guy on trademe and his vodafone live doesn't work but I sold a n79 from nokia hong kong and vodafone live worked perfectly.

Forgot to meantion that you can use vodafone live but some parts like the game section might work since the phone has not been released by vodafone

Yeah it is released. Saw the E75 in the Wellington Lambton Quay branch :D

My nokia 5140i works with live, but not officially. All you have to do is point the browser to vodafone.co.nz and that's it. Vodafone detects that you're using a cellphone and does all the rest.
