Its actually possible to do a full install using an upgrade disc...:D

If you are a uni student you can get Vista Business free.

Generally a clean install gives you less problems than an upgrade.

Also, as Blam6 mentioned previously, there are ways of doing a clean install using an upgrade disk (here's one (http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/winvista_upgrade_clean.asp)).

One would assume so, I can't find anywhere on that website that says it doesn't.

yup, I got mine from uni :D

you can also get xp, windows7 ultimate, and tone loads of stuff for free.. :D
