Ultimate to replace Vista Ultimate. But will probably go for the 64bit version, since my lappie can support it (so long as I can find the the Windows 7 drivers)...

Will end up being 'Professional', I believe that is the 'Business' version, cheers MS Action Pack. :p

It does.

7 Professional is now a complete superset of 7 Home Premium, which Vista Business was not.

BTW Ultimate is only US$20 more than Pro.... :)

I will be buying Pro Upgrade for my laptop (as you can perform a clean install with it - as you could with Vista), and maybe Ultimate for my desktop - but I'll stick with the RC on the desktop until it expires :D

rumor has it that microsoft are going to to a pre order thing? i read somewhere they will offer home and Pro for half price (US$50 and US$100 i read)

if thats true will us NZ'ers be able to do this or is it america only?

gah thats a shame

id have bought it for sure at half price but now i dont plan on going near it knowing the full price it might be :horrified

im sure they wont miss my money as XP seems to be coping well at the moment :thumbs:

I would suggest that you don't hold your breath,waiting from that quarter to be in the same street as M/S kit.
