Just watched this - 12:01 am screening.

It needs to be seen to be believed.

Amazing movie. Apparently we were among the first in NZ to see it.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Better than the first?

How was Megan? :wub

It was definitely as good as the first, possibly better.

Megan was ideal. She's done a heap of stuff to her face now though, nose job, lips...bit of a shame really, dunno what was wrong with her face before. :p

I didn't, however, find this a deterrent at all. :drool

I thought the sound in the first one was excellent too - am looking forward to this one.

I still prefer the 1980's cartoons.

But I'll still go see it. House sitting is boring.

I am also looking forward to this one.

I look forward to it coming out on DVD.

It's gonna be my first Blu-Ray purchase. Got a 46" full HD Bravia and an Onkyo Home Theatre receiver and speakers. Just need to get a Blu-Ray Drive for the PC now, and all will be in order! :D

Have not yet seen it but here's what one reviewer thought.

I'm going on friday - hopefully its as good as everyone is hyping it up to be after the screenings today.

Cool though Roger Ebert slammed it like there was no tomorrow.

I've been a disciple of Eberts for years, but I think he's started to lose it in the last 10 years or so; he seems unable to take a movie at face value for what it is, and seems to think all action flicks etc should be Citizen Kane.

James Berardinelli is a really good reviewer; IMDB links to his review where available.

Heck yes, in the comfort of your home, with a nice warm fire going, a warm cuppa, popcorn or maybe some Taties, sounds booming all around you ...

Then again, I'm told the movie is imax or gold-class material!

You're all invited. :p

Still have to see... The Hangover

A friend saw this on the weekend, said it was excellent. I'll be watching it either this or next weekend.
