Is there an online site which permits one to post files (largely MP3 and teaching files) for a group to download at their convenience? MP3 will not be larger than 30MB.

Many thanks! DrMD

There are many free places, one that I use sometimes is SaveAFile (http://www.savefile.com/) you create a free account, and upload files, that provide links you can give to the people you want to download.

The only catch is if the files are not downloaded or remain un-active for a time (60 days from memory) they get auto deleted ( free account).

you can do a Google search results (http://www.google.co.nz/search?hl=en&q=Free+file+hosting&meta=) - and see if any others suit your needs.

Good suggestions above, Skydrive (http://skydrive.live.com/) is another good one and you can choose to make access password protected or just using a private URL. I think maximum size for a file is 50MB so should be plenty for what you need, total storage is 25GB.

I've found media fire (http://www.mediafire.com/) to be good :).

Skydrive and boxstr , and my own ISP (KOL) for small files, are what I use. Mega Upload and RapidShare (free versions) are others...
