I am going to get laughed at here... :D

Apart from the usual Metal (Pantera, Iron Maiden, etc etc etc) I've been loving house the last few months.

Guru Josh Project, Infinity to name a good song, Ministry of sound clubbers guide 2009, anual 2008 and 2009 and clubbers guide summer 2009.

Stafford Brothers are good...etc etc.

Into Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, and a mate in irc suggested I have a listen to Infected Mushroom (psy-trance)

Who here has heard this remix? Always goes off whenever I've heard it played in a club. It spans several generations.

Until recently, I've been listening to alot of slipknot. But recently, while mirroring a site, I ended up with the entire pHliud (phluid.org) archive (the music label of ACiD (acid.org)). I now have 51+ hours of music, mostly in Screamtracker3 format, with a smattering of Impulsetracker and Fastracker, and a few mp3s as well.

A damn good collection, it's a shame that they're not as active now.

Just listening to a Rammstien song. Never got into the stuff I heard from them beginning of the nineties. Don't listen to mainstream radio, so don't know if this was ever played.

Rammstein - te quiero puta

Got a nice catchy tune...

A not quite disturbing thought....

The goth Metal channel I listen to, is just playing Sarah Brightman - Deliver me.

The most disturbing thing is, that it doesn't sound out out of place compared to, say Tarja Turenin, or some of Within Tempation, Sirenia....

I personally class her now as "Disney". You know, that soft kind of stuff that generally sounds like it should be in a movie?

It sounds nice, but it doesn't have the same sort of edge that early Nightwish had. (I still love Walking in the air, and Angels fall first)

And this weeks blast from the past - the awesome Babylon's Burning by The Ruts - I'd never seen the video until I saw it on Blip.fm a few days ago, but as someone said in the You Tube comments "who writes songs this good anymore?".
