For the last month or so, probably since daylight saving changed, this computer's clock goes haywire about every 2nd day. It synchs ok when I adjust it with Internet Time, but 2 days later the same problem. It's really irritating.

Windows XP Pro SP2.

Thx for any help.

Change the server youre syncing it with. If its on time.windows.com, I think its dead / no longer exists

It may be a failing CMOS battery

Also may be an antivirus program, try uninstalling it for a few days.

You can try this.
Click on Start-Run, then type services.msc & press Enter.
Scroll down to Windows Time and stop the service, then restart the computer.
Do the same to go back to services and start the Windows Time service again.
Now try updating the clock again.
