Hi All,

Right I have done that, where do I find "The Clipboard"? So that I can paste it in to Picasso or suchlike & manipulate it, Highlight a specific part. PJ

Just hit Ctrl+V. Should do it.

Picasa ain't like that, try just pasting into a blank screen if you have PaintShop, otherwise, paste [ctrl] & [V] in a new document in MS Paint.

Hi...Clearly you guys know what you are talking about...But I don't. You are telling me what to do, but not how to do it.
I have a Google Map onscreen. How do I get it into Paint or somesuch so that I can manipulate it? Thanks PJ

Centre the Google Satellite image in the web browser.

Press the Print Screen button.

Open up your paint program e.g MS Paint

Click Edit / Paste.

You can then edit as you need.

Press [Prt Sc] to place the picture of your screen onto the clipboard. Then, open MS Paint, click [File] > [New] , place the mouse cursor anywhere in the new page and then press [Ctrl] + [V] and the picture should be pasted into your new document. Save the picture for insurance in case of accidents, then remove the windowy bits from the edges of your picture and save it again with a fresh name. Try to save it as a filename.tif file, as a filename.jpg file loses a bit each time it is saved.

Google Earth allows you to print and save satellite imagery I believe

Thankyou all. I understood Bob Doe's way.
Not impressed with the clarity of the image tho. Also the image is from the Google map library & is not taken "on Demand by Me" Perhaps, also, our NZ height restriction, for privacy, is heigher than some other countries I have seen images of.

It has been claimed that "Faces" can be recognised from space, not NZ ones.

Again Thankyou. PJ

There is a print button top right of the map. Does this not work?

I'd be more than happy to edit/tidy up the image for you. PM me if you're interested.

I think that only gives you the map view, not the satellite view that I think PJ wants.
