Default ITunes: How do I get it to play automatically on startup?

    Hi,

I'm using an XP laptop for all my music, and was wondering how I can get it play a selected playlist (or anything for that matter) once it boots up.

I've got as far as getting Itunes to open on startup - now I just need to get it to play.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Does iTunes save playlists as files (like Windows Media Player)?

If it does, copy the file to the Startup folder on the Start menu.

    Yes! It does.

    I will try that now.

    Thanks for the idea.

No luck with the playlist in the startup folder.

On startup now, Itunes starts up and selects the playlist I put in the startup folder.

    But still no play.
