What kind of Ram am I using?

Hi Guys

I got the information from this website http://www.memoryx.net/eam528.html

I am just wondering, is the computer itself know which kind of memory am I using? my laptop currently got a 512MB RAM, but i want to do a upgrade on the memory for it, I just know what type of RAM that i am using...

Also, on that website, it said maximum memory only is 1GB, if i managed to find a 2GB memory, am I allow to a bigger size of ram to the laptop???

Undo the small cover on the bottom of the laptop, you will see your current RAM module there. Read what it says on it, ie:

DDR400
PC3200

etc etc.

Thats what kind you need.

That will tell you what you've got and how much more you can add.
