Why does my computer play DVD's in black and white
Why is my computer playing DVD's in black and white. It also is playing movie files in black and white aswell. This is annoying.

Yeah, what OS, laptop or desktop, what program are you trying to use.....
If you have Windows 2000, XP or Vista, download k-lite codex and see if that works.

As the others have mentioned, a little more information is needed before we can tell you why, although in the mean time you could try playback in VideoLAN Client (It uses its own decoders etc), see if that resolves your issue

Are you using TV out, or are you viewing the DVD on your monitor? Is everything black & white, or just your movies?
