    Default Telstraclear International Access

Good morning I had telstraclear installed yesterday and went to view some of favorite sites from back in the US and they were ridicously slow if loading at all. I switched from Firefox to Opera which helped because they load content differently and my text got through but still no images. I have pinged all sites in question and all have come back with acceptable latency between 150 and 250 depending on the path etc and have routed fine so the queestion is why aren't loading fast and efficiently?
    Sites in question are:
    http://www.meebo.com slow no images
    http://www.allrecipes.com slow no images
Sites to test other parts of the world:
    http://www.monster.co.uk extremely slow no images
    http://www.india.gov.in Good condition
    Local sites:
http://www.geekzone.co.nz seems to start to load and then hangs
    http://www.seek.co.nz Good condition
There you have it and my guess is there is a ridicously small pipe somewhere in my connection that is causing problems but any other guesses, advice would be appreciated.

Guess I have some troubleshooting on my end, I'm Telstraclear Wellington Cable as well so if you work that means it should be me and not them. Guess I have some work to do.

Reboot the modem, and try accessing again during off peak hours (i.e. early in the morning between 7am and 9am). See if that makes any difference.

Problem was resolved using alternate DNS servers, now I have a solid connection with all sites loading fine. Thanks for your help.
