Most of the time its a driver error. Did you just install or update something?
Can sometimes be faulty RAM too.

    What version of Windows?

What did you install BEFORE it crashed??

Has this crashing only just happened??

Does it only crash when you SHUT down ? (Does it work or boot into Windows besides this OK)??

Get hijackthis in my sig, put it in its own folder, then click on scan the system, and save a log.

Post the log here, we'll see whats in it.

It's a driver issue, can be many different drivers.... go to safe mode, see if that helps, and do a system restore. I had this problem before and it was my Video Card... I forgot how I fixed it.. I think I just reinstalled some drivers

Looks like you've got some worms, this could be the reason for the crashing.

Put hijackthis in its own folder FIRST, tick these entries then tick fix checked

    Close browser/s.

This is malware or rogue software, I think. If its in add/remove programs, uninstall it

Tick this, if you've uninstalled Spybot.

    Get Trojan remover

Update it then click on scan. Then select ALL options under the utilities menu.
