1st test Download 7531kb/s Upload 1123 kb/s

2nd Run Download 7688 Upload 1131 kb/s
Same test from Slingshot:

Download Speed: 7204 kbps (900.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 1612 kbps (201.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 56 ms

Try the site and see if you get a different score, its interesting how some sites report differently.

I'm on Telstra cable.

Now if only the Actual speeds related in actual downloads in the "real world"

Makes me wonder just how accurate the results from various tests are

I was "playing" during lunch with the Slingshot speed tester.

You tell me thats accurate compared to above.

Thats where I did the first test from, thanks anyway. The times/speed is all over the place, depending on internet traffic / time of day. Lots of thing to consider, sometimes its faster than others. But never as fast as that Slingshot test - I wish
