Default "zero g registry"--what is it"

a hidden folder called Zero G Registry has appeared in program files, containing an xml file of a similar name. I have never seen it before, so assume it is to do with 3dsmax, which ive just installed? any help on telling me what this thing is would be great!

Technically? Maybe not. However I don't like anything that "automatically" installs stuff to my PC.

ive figured it out now, i think its asscoiated with the installer for 3dsmax. most installer/packaging apps like InstallShield dont place their stuff directly in c:/program files though, they put it in program files/common files.

This is apparently used by at least some other major products, as claimed by the publishers, including Embarcadero database modeling and maintenance tools. See reference at http://www.embarcadero.com/jive/entr...&categoryID=10, in which tehy explain how to delete the xml file if you are manually uninstalling one of their products.

Well...that's what they WANT you to think...right?

I mean, who ever downloads differential equations anyway? Huh?
