    Default Avast! problems with Outlook 2002

    Hi there - has anyone else had problems with Avast! and Outlook 2002? In my setup (running XP with Service Pack 2) Outlook keeps wanting to close down and send error messages to Microsoft (particularly whendeleting emails). An inconvenient timewaster!

    What make you think it has anything to do with Avast, it will just be a problem with Outlook don't you think.
    Try an Outlook repair

    The problem started when I installed Avast! and disappeared when I uninstalled it....
    Now-if I could just remember where I left my brain...

    Solution to problem - turned out to be a conflict between ZoneAlarm and Avast! Now sorted...

    Reminds oneself - "Must not drink wine when fiddling with computer!"
    Now-if I could just remember where I left my brain...
