    Default Outlook POP3 Inbox limit

Can anyone help me with the following problem.

I am using outlook 2003 & have created a connection using pop3 to a groupwise mail server. The connection has been tested & works fine, with the exception that only 100 messages have been received into outlook, when the server holds over 500. I am told that the groupwise server does not restrict the amount of messages to download & that the restriction must be within outlook. However I have been unable to find any settings in outlook that would cause this restriction.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I am not familiar with Outlook but in Outlook Express under Tools>Options>Read there is a setting to choose how many headers to download at a time. You could perhaps find a similar setting in Outlook that needs changing from 100 messages to 500.

Susan, the download headers option in Outlook Express is for newsgroups, not emails, and is quite different. There will be no option like this in Outlook 2003 as it is not a newsreader like OE.
