NEro test drive

I have nero 6 and want nero to test my cdrom drive.I open nero smart start and clicked test drive but it says that no cd rom drives found.The info tool in nero 6 does detect there is a cd rom drive.What is happening?

do you have a both a cdrom and a cd writer or just a cd writer ?

What OS are you running?

If XP (maybe 2000?) then you probably need to have the ASPI layers installed.
