    Hi Thomas,
Lots of people here use AVG & are happy with it. When our Norton's was due to expire we decided to renew it at $14.95 US.
    The choice is yours.

SystemWorks contains WinDoctor, which is a great tool for repairing and cleaning your operating system. Well worth the investment, shame about their AV. (Probably why you need the systemworks :P )

    Hi again Thomas,
Ours is the systemworks 2002 that's why we decided to stay with Norton's.
I'm a bit confused when you say $39.95 + Packaging. What packaging?
Did you go into the wrong bit at the Symantec Site? It will be subscription renewal that you want, not buying it.

    Ugh!!!

Don't download it from the internet... for your $$ you want media, hard CD media...

If your PC screws out chances are your re-update from the internet will csot you again...

The $39.95 is definitely upgrading to their newer version. If you want to renew your subscription then go here and enter appropriate details. I use Systemworks as well and find it very useful and and good value for money as well.
By the way is your windows due for a reinstal soon. You might find a pleasant surprise (with Systemworks) if you do so .
