    Default Fallen branches

I have a large tree at the front of my house, on the berm. Some huge branches came down in the storm, and they're on the berm and footpath. I thought to call the Napier Council on Tuesday to get them removed. D'ya reckon they'll do it? (Almost my whole street has similar problems).

They should do but unless they are a danger to the public it will not be a priority task. At a guess there is a lot of work on for the local contractors in the area.

Take a look at Anderson Park Greg. Lots for them to do there. Pity some of the naysayers on the forum who have been complaining about "excessive warnings that came to nothing" could see the damage down here. Consider yourselves lucky the storm turned away from Auckland or you might not be so cynical about it.

Gee we need a bird emoji on this site

Unless you are gay get your Stihl out and cut it up into firewood. Every good ol Kiwi bloke has a chainsaw.

Well I'm born Kiwi, but spent much of my life outside NZ. Besides, from what I've noticed, most people who use chainsaws haven't lost most of their left arm in an accident.

You seem to be intimately acquainted with gay people?

    Dont be.
That term (gay) no longer has the same meanings .
its a description of someone or something thats hopeless , useless at doing things

it also has other meanings : happy or sexual orientation.

just as smilely face can mean happy or a drug reference
