Default Laptop still being stalled by Disc usage a 100%

Thought this was solved following Wainui's suggestion. Seemed ok with only a couple of stalls but now back again, so have restarted the thread.
HP running W10. Is only a few months old.
Disc usage randomly goes to 100% which stalls everything for a few minutes.
    Did this:
"In the Search type in Notifications, select notifications and Action Settings -- under notifications, disable the lot.
Next go back to the home Panel in Settings, go to Privacy, on the Left - Bottom - Background Apps - When they populate, turn OFF all of them - Reboot the PC should now be a lot faster."

    Any help greatly appreciated.

The standard HP preloaded OS is RIDDLED with crapware
could be part of the issue

    or a very slow HD
    also try disabling indexing service

If all the above as previously posted has been turned off, then usually there's some program(s) running in the background sucking disk usage.

There can be many causes, and sometimes its not so obvious as to whats causing it, two common ones are Goggle chrome and Skype.

Can you supply a screen shot of whats running ? Easy way, install Ccleaner ( if you don't have it. On The left - Tools - Startup you'll see a list.

As an example, heres mine, as you can see theres not much in the way of programs running, theres more disabled - I could whittle it down even further if I wanted.

What you can also do is use the inbuilt Toolsd in W10.

In search, type in Resource Open Resource monitor - Click on the Disk Bar - enlarging it if you want, scroll through see whats eating the disk usage ( higher numbers = more usage. Make a note of what they are, or take a screenshot showing the application and usage amount.

One thing positive about Windows 10 is that there is never a dull moment anymore on ye olde computer

How do you upload attachments to here?. Have got screen captures saved as docx.
Looked in Recourse and saw nothing strange but have got a SC anyway.

Be better if its a screen shot ( picture)

The inbuilt Snipping tool. Open Ccleaner or resource monitor and expand out like mentioned above.

Then in Search, type in Snip Open snipping tool. click new, the screen will go ghostly, you'll see a + drag that around the area you want to capture, save it then in advanced mode of the thread click on the Picture Icon, navigate to location you saved picture and upload.

Watch This -- bit of fluffing about at one stage as the snip window went out side of my screen recording software area

It's not stuck with a huge file sync operation is it? I see One Drive there. But, presumably, you will have checked this out.
