hotmail bouncing emails ??

Hi there

has anyone been having issues with hotmail bouncing emails today ?? Its
happening with with 2 separate companies(clients) today (both exchange server based)

What the hell is a company using Hotmail for. They deserve to get bounced themselves.

I would say they are trying to send emails to hotmail addresses and they are getting bounced back.

Reading it again it looks like you are right in which case it could be that Hotmail is blocking a range of IP addresses.
Are the two companies using the same host.

Hi . These 2 companies are trying to send to hotmail .
Both companies have different ISP's & use Exchange to send .

I know how unreliable hotmail is... try telling that to a client trying to send to their customers hotmail address

Yup.. we are facing the same issue. Cant send emails to hotmail accounts. Our IPs are blocked as well. .... not sure what is happening.

Hotmail and Xtra are both on Sorbs blacklist.

Had rejected emails from hotmail today on a server who's only sin is being in the telecom netblock.
Routed them via a server on a different provider and went through fine.

Interesting, I had a client today sending through an exchange server based in Auckland to a hotmail address which was also bouncing back and blocked by hotmail.

Any of you guys were able to unblock your IP? My smtp IP is still blocked by hotmail, even though I have filled the forms to have to unblocked.
