Default Where to get a high speed camera?

I have been wanting to work with high speed motion and still photography for a while but I have no idea where to get a HS camera from. Something around 1000fps would be nice and (doesnt everyone ask for this?) preferably cheap.... but I dont know what is classified as cheap when it comes to these

So where does one acquire such a thing? What brands are good and how much? I don't mind 2nd hand

    Cheers

What were you hoping to do? Get a picture of a woman with her mouth closed?

You'll need more than 1000fps to achieve that!

    Hiring is an option, apparently

OR you could buy one of these(water effects mentioned) but probably not within your definition of cheap

Getting back to reality. this may suit you http://www.home-essentials.co.nz/Vie...aspx?mid=Casio The Casio Exilim EX-FC100 has been around for a few years, but will apparently do 1000 FPM for 365 bucks bit of an odd place to sell them though.

    Google is you friend.

For slowing and capturing the motion of a Swiss Post Parcel in transit, a camera like one of these is not really necessary. Erosion of a granite tablet using a water pistol is more than adequate.
