    Hi Speedy
It was already installed on the laptop when I brought it and not sure if it is ok to get rid of it.

    What about the
    @%SystemRoot%\system32\sppsvc.exe,-101 (sppsvc) - Unknown owner - C:\Windows\system32\sppsvc.exe (file missing)

and others with "file Missing" labels at the end of the log?

Dont worry about the missing entries, HJT needs to be updated to work properly with Win7.

I have no idea what that startup entry is or what it belongs to. It maybe some encryption program?

Actually its up to 2.05 beta now. But, I have no idea if this works properly or not in Win7. Disable those 2 startup entries in startup with ccleaner. If its installed. If something doesnt work, enable them again

Googled My Win Locker. It is a legit encription program.
It does not show up in CCCleaner startup.
It shows in the start menu and runs OK but needs to be setup. I would like to keep it until I figure out whether I want to use it.
I am still confused by the many "missing file" entries that show up in HJT.
The version 2.0.4 of HJT is the latest one I can find.(downloaded and installed it tonight.
Edit. Just found the beta so will DL and install it.

Don't be tempted to delete the "missing" entries, it is HijackThis that is faulty and not updated for Win7.
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche
