At work I have 3 screens attached to my PC (1x 24" wide, 2x 19" 4:3). My job is changing slightly to one that requires me to be a bit more mobile - multiple desks around different locations - so I might need to look at using a laptop rather than a desktop.
Is it possible for me to continue running the 3 screens from a laptop (ignoring the laptop screen)? Are there adapters (portable?) that will make it possible to use the multiple screens? What about 2x 24" rather than the three?
Having a easy to transport desktop box might be an option, but we're unsure at this stage how mobile I might need to be.
Mike.

To put it simply, I make and work with maps, so I have the mapping software on 2 screens (1 screen, the 24" one, is almost only the actual map display , the other screen is all the tools/toolbars and data. Screen 3 has the mapping database connections so that I can add data to my map easily without having to minimise windows all the time.
