dosent matter. i got it done
well i remembered i have a laptop hard drive sitting round for an hp laptop. i've just looked at the hard drive in the laptop and its the same. how do i take it out. i want to put in the one thats lying around as its from a newer hp laptop which was good for parts. the hard drive came from a laptop from 2006. which is a year newer than my laptop. they use the same type hard drive and i wish to put the new one in so i can format it and do a fresh install so i don't damage the one that it came with.
how do i remove it? it's not screwed in as far as i can see. their is a tab too
