Default Outlook pst file in Windows 7

    Evening all
Just upgraded to Windows 7 and wondered where I might find the Outlook folder with the pst file now that its all changed from the old days of Xp

(I figured I'd be lazy and just ask)
    Cheers

I get "access denied" when I try to get into that. I'm the only user and Administrator so how can I override this?

    The Users/username/ is a shortcut!

Give it a few seconds after you click on OK for that message and it should come up the folder that is.

The files may be hidden as well.

Eaisest way - try this - click start, type in run from the results click the run icon, in the box that appears,

simply copy in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook (replace Username with what ever your username is) Click OK and bingo - .pst file

Even easier, just go into Outlook itself, go to Tools > Options. Click the Mail setup tab, and then look at Data Files. It'll tell you in there, as well as let you change some settings including the location of the .pst file

    That's in Outlook 2007.
